The 1st Battle of Thermopylae was Made famous in the 1962 movie The 300 Spartans, staring Richard Egan & Ralph Richardson. Also the 2006 movie 300 was loosely based on the battle of Thermopylae .
Now you can own a reproduction of Spartan shields. That may have been carried almost 2500 years ago by Spartan solders at The 1st Battle of Thermopylae.
